Fire Ban Lifted in the Municipality of Jasper

The fire ban in the Municipality of Jasper is lifted as of 4:00pm on Friday, September 15.

Recreational fires are allowed in fire pits and outdoor fireplaces only, which should be located at least 2.5 meters away from any buildings or structures. The fire ban in Jasper National Park is also lifted.

Never leave a campfire unattended. Soak it, stir it and soak it again until cool to the touch to ensure it is extinguished.

If you see a wildfire, report it immediately by calling 911.
