Free non-medical masks now available in Jasper

The ECC has received more than 4,000 non-medical masks from the province’s Masks for Albertans program. Packages of masks (four masks per package) are available for free at Servus Credit Union, Alberta Treasury Branch (ATB), the Jasper Royal Canadian Legion, Robinsons Foods grocery store and TGP grocery store.

The Province is encouraging Albertans to wear non-medical masks when out in public places where it isn’t possible to keep a distance of two metres, this includes:

  •  grocery stores and pharmacies
  •  hair salons and barbershops
  •  some retail stores
  • public transit and airplanes

    Do not wear a mask:
  •  If it’s dirty or damaged in any way
  • If it gaps or doesn’t fit well
  •  If it’s been used by another person
  •  Children under 2 years of age
  •  Anyone that has trouble breathing
  • When you are only with people from your own household
