Jasper Cemetery - Groundskeeping and Operating Policies

Cemetery grounds are open to the public seven days per week. From April 1 to September 30, flowers will be removed and disposed of each Thursday when grounds maintenance takes place. Photographs, crosses and mementos will be placed in the bin adjacent to the grounds maintenance shed.
Flowers placed on a grave at time of burial will be left for not less than seven days, after which they will be removed and disposed of.
No person shall plant trees or shrubs, or otherwise undertake landscaping in the cemetery.
No person shall install any marker, memorial tablet, monument, bench or other construction in the cemetery except by Municipality of Jasper permit.
The Municipality of Jasper shall not be responsible for any damage, destruction or defacement to any marker, memorial tablet, monument, construction or other object in the cemetery.
Domestic animals are not permitted in the cemetery.
