The Jasper Community Sustainability Plan is now complete! The updated plan replaces the 2001 Community Plan and completes the plan review process that began in October 2008.

The Municipality of Jasper and Parks Canada have been working in partnership since 2007 to create the Jasper Community Sustainability Plan. Public consultations began in the fall of 2008 and continued through to the fall of 2009. The Draft Plan was since available for public review.

The Plan describes the community’s vision for a sustainable future and proposes goals, objectives, targets and strategies to achieve that vision. The Plan is structured around the five pillars of sustainability: society, culture, economy, environment, and government.
