The Jasper Community Sustainability Plan describes the community’s vision for a sustainable future and proposes goals, objectives, targets and strategies to achieve that vision. The Plan is structured around the five pillars of sustainability: society, culture, economy, environment, and government.

Paper copies are available at the Municipality of Jasper administration office, Parks Canada administration office and the Jasper Municipal Library.

The Jasper Community Sustainability Plan replaces the 2001 Community Plan and completes the plan review process that began in October 2008.

The Municipality of Jasper and Parks Canada worked in partnership since 2007 to create the Jasper Community Sustainability Plan. Public consultations began in the fall of 2008 and continued through to the fall of 2009 when the Draft Plan became available for public review.
