Each year Council gives out two special awards: the Mayor’s Special Award and the Mayor’s Recognition Awards.

The Mayor’s Special Award recognizes an individual whose service or achievement at the local, provincial, national or international level has been of singular significance.

The Mayor’s Recognition Awards recognize achievement and volunteer services by individuals, teams, or groups who, through their efforts and/or accomplishments, have enhanced the image of or have made a significant contribution to the Municipality of Jasper.
