The Municipality of Jasper has established the Community Development Fund and the Economic Development Fund to consider all requests for support of a financial or non-financial nature. The municipal policy governing requests for support is detailed in  Policy D-EA, Requests for Support.
Cash awards from the Jasper Sports and Culture Foundation are offered to individuals for the pursuit of excellence in the development of sports and culture in Jasper.
A variety of community scholarships are awarded to students graduating from the Jasper high schools.

The Economic Development Fund provides financial assistance to individuals and non-profit groups where economic benefit to the Municipality is exhibited. These funds are to be considered "funds of last resort". The Community Development Fund provides financial assistance for non-profit organizations or individual initiatives which will benefit the community of Jasper.
