The Economic Development Fund provides financial assistance to individuals and non-profit groups where economic benefit to the Municipality is exhibited. These funds are to be considered "funds of last resort".

Community Development Fund
The Community Development Fund provides financial assistance for non-profit organizations or individual initiatives that will benefit the community of Jasper. These funds are to be considered "funds of last resort".

Scholarships
The following scholarships are available to graduates of the Jasper Junior/Senior High School:
Alberta Margaret Atkinson Scholarship For students enrolled in any year (except pre-med) in Medicine or Dentistry, second or subsequent years in Nursing, Paramedics, Engineering or Commerce and first year in Law.
Mountain Park Lodges Hospitality / Business Scholarship For students enrolled in courses related to the hospitality industry or business administration
Mountain Park Lodges Health Care Scholarship For students enrolled in courses related to physical, social or mental care.

Jasper Sports and Culture Foundation
The Jasper Sports & Culture Foundation was established by virtue of the legacy from the Canada Winter Games held in Jasper in 1995. Foundation awards are available to individuals who intend to pursue excellence in the development of sports and/or culture in Jasper.
The $30,000 from the Canada Winter Games forms the initial capital. Local fundraising groups and individuals are invited to contribute donations to this capital sum.
To be eligible for consideration of a Foundation award, applicants shall:
- Be a resident of Jasper,
- Make application for this Foundation on an individual basis, per activity,
- Indicate the amount of funds being requested, and the intended use of the funds,
- Submit a budget indicating proposed funding and expenses,
- Be aware that priority shall be given to youth applications in sports and culture, and coaching development for youth activities,
- Attach a copy of verification of the applicant's acceptance into an appropriate program related to the intent of the Foundation, and
- Submit application by the deadline to: Jasper Sports and Culture Foundation Committee, c/o Yvonne McNabb, Director of Culture & Recreation, Box 1539, Jasper, Alberta T0E 1E0.
Grants will be paid from interest earned in the current year on the principal amount of the Foundation. It should also be noted that applicants may only receive a grant from this Foundation once. In past years residents of Jasper have bequeathed funds for scholarships and foundations in this community.
