We need volunteers! Call 780-852-3334 if you have time to help. We need sorters, cashiers, repair people and people to help with the pick-up of donations. Even if you only have a few hours to spare, we could use your help.

What is the Jasper Reuse-it Centre? 
The Jasper Reuse-it Centre is a secondhand store for furniture, sporting goods and household items donated by the community.

The Reuse-it Centre operates under the non-profit society JESS (the Jasper Environmental Stewardship Society. The purpose of JESS is to operate a Reuse-it Centre in Jasper, to provide a pick-up service for unwanted but useful items and to fundraise for local environmental stewardship initiatives.

The Reuse-it Centre minimizes waste going directly to the landfill, while providing an outlet for the sale of inexpensive household items.

How will the Reuse-it Centre be funded?
The Environmental Stewardship Program has been supported by the Jasper Environmental Stewardship Society as a pilot project for 2012-2013. Then the store must be self-sustaining to continue operations.

What is JESS?
The Jasper Environmental Stewardship Society (JESS) is a non-profit society that exists to fundraise to support environmental stewardship programming in Jasper and to preserve and enhance the community in a manner consistent with the Jasper Community Sustainability Plan.

Donations
If you have furniture or household items please bring them to the Reuse-it Centre during operating hours. Dumping in off-hours is prohibited. If you need the items picked up please call 780-852-3334.

Volunteers
The Reuse-it Centre needs many volunteers to operate. There's a job suited to you! We'll need people to:
• Organize and price stock
• Work as a cashier
• Help with pick-ups
