KAOS: Kids Adventures of the Summer/School-Year

Activities for youth 10-12 years old

Kaos provides safe, supervised and fun activities for kids age 10-12 throughout summer and non-school days. Kaos activities are free or low cost to create fun and accessible Jasper experiences. Some activities Kaos has done are: 

  • Pumpkin carving 
  • Rock climbing 
  • Arts and crafts 

Waivers & Permission Forms:

In person programs require parents to sign a waiver and acknowledgement of risk, and complete the COVID-19 screening tool.

Twisted Tuesdays

Summer activities for teens

Contact: Community Outreach Office at 780-852-2100

In the summer months, Community Outreach Services offers youth fun activities each week during the school break. In the past, teens have: 

  • gone paddle boarding,
  • enjoyed s'mores and an outdoor movie  
  • made sushi and enjoyed a town-wide scavenger hunt/race

Teen Rec Room

Weekly hangout for teens

Every Wednesday night, Teen Outreach Worker Anna DeClercq hosts Rec Room at the Jasper Royal Canadian Legion. Rec Room provides a safe, fun space for local youth to socialize with their peers.
